The example images below will give you an idea of how much more sky is obtainable using
the ProStar 0.5X 1.25-inch focal reducer. Using a 127mm f/7.5 refractor and colour GSTAR-EX camera with 1/2-inch CCD array, the image at top is the view without the reducer while the image below is with the reducer screwed in to the nose piece of the camera.
