Sharp, contrasty
and a very comfortable field of view.
That sums up my experience with the Vixen LVW 13mm eyepiece. My views of the Homunculus
nebula produced by Eta Carina showed very fine detail and all the faint little stars
around the field. Combined with a Vixen 2X Barlow, this eyepiece gave much sharper stars
and a bit wider field than a Nagler of similar power.
