The SXW-ED103S features a 2 group 3-element ED optical design with special ED glass which dramatically reduces secondary spectrum and produces incredibly good views of high contrast for both visual work and astrophotography. It is the ultimate fast refractor for serious observing and photography with plenty of aperture and the thermal benefits of sealed optics. This is a new generation of highly corrected ED optics not like those found in budget models.
