Features a top-quality triplet air-spaced objective with FPL-53 glass; customed designed and created by a leading Russian optical designer. This scope is extremely sharp and has a great color correction. It is ideal for astrophotography.
Extra-smooth 3.5" Crayford focuser: a treat to use during astrophotography. No more image shifting with 360 deg. Rotatable flange it is Extra-heavy duty with large aluminum knobs.
Stainless steel reinforcement inserts on both sides and on the back to allow heavy loading without problems.
Ball bearings on both sides of the focuser will make your focusing experience the best you ever experienced with a scope!
Graduated scale for precise camera alignment.

Despite of its 158mm objective, the scope is still very compact and solid. The focuser is so strong there is no need for a locking screw and it is a dual-speed microfocuser.
