The Prostar 70° 38mm 2" eyepiece is a super wide angle eyepiece that exceles as a low power wide angle rich field eyepiece, and provides expansive views of nebulae, open clusters and galaxies. A fantastic eyepiece to search for galaxy clusters with or roam across the Milky Way.
 
The Prostar 70° 38mm 2" eyepiece is a 5 element high-index glass design with broadband multi-coatings and blackened lens edges for super sharp and high contrast images. With fold-down eye cup and molded rubber grip, it is also threaded to accept 2" filters.  It also has a massive 28mm of eye relief.
 
The Prostar 70° 38mm 2” eyepiece is best suited to refractors, Cassegrains and slower f/ratio Newtonians.
