This collapsible telescope comes with an aperture of 254mm and a focal length of 1200mm, promising bright views of the Moon, planets and deep sky gems such as star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Portability of this telescope is made easy with the truss-design, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly during transport.

Elegant truss tube design and carefully engineered to combine ease-of-use, extreme portability and consistent performance. Unlike other truss tube designs, the Saxon Collapsible Dobsonian does not need to be disassembled between sessions and transports as two compact parts that can be assembled and ready to use in seconds!
Easy to collimate, once set up it holds collimation throughout the evening!

Like their traditional Dobs, the new collapsible models feature the patented tension adjustment control on the altitude bearings. This eliminates the need and added cost of clumsy counterweight systems to balance the telescope.
